The markets are in limbo until the Federal Government shutdown has been ironed out. Typically, this is a bullish scenario, but the longer it takes to settle, the higher the probability investors will "risk off" and thus price will generally pull back giving us cheap CALL opportunities so keep a watch on strikes up to 50 points OTM on pull backs espeically to SGB zones.

Today's daily chart reveals a unique topping tail SGB inside another SGB zone yesterday, so I am fully expecting a larger move next week. Obviously, there will be a test of the infamous 6666.66 level on any downside move, and should that level hold, price will be on for Heavenly 7777.77; however, if it fails, it will be an easy path to the lower SGB zone at 6555....Fiobonacci!

As you have read over the years in my commentary, I pay attention to "anomaly" price points and know they are likley "coded" messages more than  happenstance randomness. With today's instraday high of "50" and being only one cent short of "88", I read into this as a "heads-up code" being broadcast to aware traders.

My plan is to open up my Premium Pirate spread strikes to 20 & 50 points, while adding some "what if", or what I call "Event Horizon" PUTS up to 2% OTM on SPX and/or 5% OTM PUTS on SPY until the shutdown situation has been subsided.

Remember, markets always want to go up until they don't, so any dips inside a 2-3% (+/- 200 points) move on SPX is "buying" opportunities for me and I always pinpoint SGB zones for strike targets.

Today,  the PUTS perfomed well but the neutral strike dropped down the $1 Formula trade and rocketed to 7X!
